Sol Hicks is an internationally sought-after speaker, career coach, and consultant. With 52 years in the business, Sol is showing no signs of slowing down as he continues to add exciting and inspiring chapters to his already remarkable life. Most recently he launched Hicks Global Institute, a worldwide training community for advisors and sales professionals everywhere. He is a life and qualifying member of MDRT for 35 years, a 23-time COT member, and TOT qualifier for 23 consecutive years. Believing his success is transferable, Sol mentors more than 150 agents worldwide.

Cynthia Hicks-Middleton started working with her father in 1996, traveling throughout the United States and Asia offering guidance to individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits on strategies to secure their future. Her experience and compassion serve her to empower women, men, families and communities to plan, take ownership of their futures, and preserve a legacy for future generations.
As Founder of Hicks Global Institute, Cynthia is taking that passion and vision along with her father’s wisdom and transforming it into a worldwide training institute for advisors and sales professionals everywhere.

Ana began selling life insurance in 2003 for Prudential International in the Philippines, her native country. She became a MDRT qualifier and the number one sales agent in her home country. Based upon her success, Prudential brought her to the USA as a manager for financial services and to sell insurance in a country she did not know, where she knew no one and who’s language she only spoke marginally.

At one point, Ana became the number one sales manager on the West Coast and the number four sales manager in the country for Prudential. She remembers fondly that she “could not have accomplished that without the guidance and caring of my mentor and friend, Sol Hicks.” Ana is honored to be working with AIG, Sol Hicks, Cynthia Hicks and their Hicks Global Services family.

Ana remains true to her roots, volunteering as the Secretary for NAFA (National Association of Filipino Americans), a charitable medical outreach organization. Her target market includes the owners and employees of ARF’s (adult residential facilities for developmentally disabled) and Assisted Living Facilities for the elderly. In addition to AIG QOL policies, she also sells P&C, General & Professional Liability, Worker’s Compensation Insurance and Group Benefits. Ana has been an MDRT qualifier for the past eight (8) years.

In 2013, Ana married Tom Conroy. Tom is also an AIG agent and member of the Hicks Global Services family. They live in the growing city of Beaumont, CA but they sell AIG products throughout Southern California and beyond.

Tom Conroy was born & raised in the Chicago, IL area. He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Over the past 30 years he has gained valuable business & sales experience in several industries including motion pictures, tax software, retail and payroll services. He worked for nine years as a real estate/property tax appraiser for Riverside County, CA Assessor’s Office.

Tom saw the light and began his career in the insurance industry in 2013. In 2015 he started working as a career agent for Mass Mutual Insurance (Beverly Hills office) where he quickly gained attention for his life insurance sales success. In his first six months, Mass Mutual recognized Tom as a “Rising Leader” in February and August 2015. He was named “New Career Agent of the Month” for the Beverly Hills/Fraser Financial office in December 2015. He qualified for Mass Mutual’s “Leaders Conference” in 2016.

In 2017, Tom had the pleasure of joining the prestigious Hicks Global Services. With the assistance of Sol Hicks, Cynthia Hicks and his wife, Ana Maria Conroy, began selling AIG Life Insurance. In 2018, Tom’s sales success earned him recognition as an “Elite Conference” qualifier. Tom qualified for his first MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) and attended the MDRT Global Conference in Sydney, Australia in September 2019.

Tom credits his success to his lovely and inspirational wife of 9 years, Ana Maria Conroy. They live in Beaumont, CA and sell Life, Property & Casualty, General & Professional Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance throughout California and other states.

Tammy L. Ellard is a native of Newark, New Jersey and a product the Newark Public School System. After graduating from West Side High School, she continued her educational pursuit at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and Livingston College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She currently serves as the Associate Minister of Music at her home church, Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church. A position she’s held since June 2007.

After being employed by Verizon for over 25 years, she chose to change her career from telecommunications to insurance. Her telecommunications career has allowed her to serve and support people both individually and collectively.

Now that she’s an insurance agent, she can share her love for helping others, along with providing essential knowledge concerning insurance needs, financial planning and retirement support. Currently, she is employed by Hicks Global Services, an occupation she enjoys as it allows her to continue to service people.

Douglas T. Gaines is a sales professional working as a broker with large conglomerate companies, in 25 states and is the Founder and CEO of Gaines & Gaines Financial Services, Ltd. He has partnered with his mentor and business partner Sol Hicks, CEO of Hicks Global Enterprises & Solomon Hicks Financial Services. He was a member of the Prudential Leaders Council, a seven-time qualifier for Prudential’s prestigious Master’s Conference; two time Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table – Top of the Table; 16 time Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table – Court of the Table, as well as a 18 time Life Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Mr. Gaines is a Life Time Member, past president and past member of the Executive Advisory Committee for the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.; served on the Board of Directors, Director of Finance and Member of the Endowment Committee for 12 years of eta Creative Arts Foundation; serves on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Finance & Audit Committee of the Bernie Mac Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park, Inc. where he is the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Elder and Sunday School Instructor. Mr. Gaines is a native of Chicago and graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Accountancy; currently a student at McCormick Theological Seminary perusing the Master of Divinity Degree, Graduation May 7, 2022; Member of the McCormick Board of Trustees and serves on the following Board Committees – Academic Program Committee, Student Success Committee, Educational Policy and Program Committee; and Masters Level Co-Moderator of Student Council and Member of the Board of Deacons. He is married to Suzette for 31 years and has two wonderful children, Doug Jr. and Moriah.
